On Thursday August 30th, I had the pleasure of capturing the precious moments of my beautiful friend’s wedding.

Nestled in the woods of Squamish, myself and a small group of friends and family witnessed Macey and Kris as they made a promise to spend the rest of their lives madly in love and wildly adventuring together.

As two of the bridesmaids pointed out in their speeches, Macey has a keen eye for detail, which definitely came through in everything that day. From the table decor, to the sparkling lights that lit up the trees, she had turned a little corner of Squamish into an enchanted forest; a perfect depiction of their neck of the woods.

The many years that Macey and I have known each other have flown by, but as she’s told me before, somehow we always manage to find each other. And I’m so glad that’s the case! She looked so happy & beautiful as she got ready and put on her dress.

The groomsmen and bridesmaids looked amazing as well!

The most moving part of the day for me personally, was Macey’s parent’s reaction to seeing their daughter in her dress.

Once everyone was settled and seated, the ceremony got underway. Macey and Kris both wrote their own beautiful vows!

After the ceremony, we gathered the entire crew to get the group shots. Then, the newlyweds and the wedding party went off on their own (with me in tow, of course). Squamish is the perfect backdrop, complete with both roaring rivers and quiet streams, plus a couple of perfectly hidden paths!

Shortly after, the MC announced the entrance of the Bride and Groom for the first time and the reception began!
